Five young boys, nine dogs, two housekeepers, two guardians and a four story rented house makes up the Langtang Children's home and dog shelter.

The boys are either orphaned or under care due to disabled parents.
They're very independent and entertain themselves easily and simply.

While I was there I spent time with the boys helping them with their homework, playing at the park and just hanging out. They were really well behaved.

Most of the dogs are rescued. Some are purchased by Janak and Pushpa, our hosts, and breed them to sell puppies in order to raise funds for the home.
I bathed some dogs and walked them every day. Janak has trained them well.

One afternoon we all got together to make Mo Mo's.
I've been eating these little delicious dumplings the whole time I've been in Nepal.
My favourite is easily the vegetable ones however on this occasion, the buffalo mix made by Janak was so good they were the winners.

We had heaps of spare time so we walked around the local area a lot, got to know some of the locals and fellow volunteers and really relaxed.
