About Me
In July 2016 I finally had enough of the daily grind and decided to sell all my possessions and rent my house so I could travel until the money ran out. In December 2017 after 14 months overseas it finaly did and I returned to Australia to quickly raise some more.
I spent those 14 months overseas wandering around Europe and Asia taking in the sights, sounds and cultures.

As far as an itinerary goes I didn't have one. There was a list but it changed regularly. Spain was the first destination and the only one locked in. Other destinations were organised on the road.

My aim was to experience and understand many different cultures, check out some great architecture, see as many sites as I could, be amazed at some fine art and try not to get into too much trouble along the way.
I wanted to do this 'on the cheap' so I expected some dining, accommodation and local travel to be interesting. And it was to say the least!

I also planned to work, volunteer and house/pet sit. This would assist me in meeting people and experiencing the cultures. And it did. This was some of the most rewarding, challenging and exciting times I had while on the road.
I met some brilliant, inspiring, friendly, caring and wonderful people along the way which I'll call friends forever.

This blog was created as a place to share my opinions, thoughts, experiences and photos and serve as travel diary of sorts.

After spending so much time away meeting people and experiencing wonderful things and places, I affirmed to myself that the travel/gypsy/freelance life suits me best and what I want to do full time.
In April 2018 I hit the road again. This time I would do things a little different. Working online, exploring ad house sitting.

Now Covid-19 is here and international travel has stopped.
I've spent this time studying dog behavior modification and training and am now a certified dog trainer and am putting these skills to good use moonlighting as a part time dog trainer and professional house sitter. You can read more about this in the tab above titled CBMT.
