DASH shelter, week 2

So this week I've repaired and built dog kennels, repaired fences and done a little bit of plumbing.
The kennel I made from left over/scrap material isn't my finest work but I think the new one will turn out ok when it's finished.
I've got too used to using my own tools I reckon. Especially the cordless gear.
My aim is not to waste anything when I'm doing this kind of work as all material is precious.
Actually everything is precious. We can't afford to let anything go to waste. Dog food, water, money, materials and so on has to be used efficiently and wisely.
Pretty much all the money that the shelter gets comes from donations abroad and a little from local fundraising. Germany is the major provider with some coming from England and a little from local government and members.
Theres not much of it and at times its unclear if we will even have the funds for the critical items such as food for the dogs. At the moment the food situation is ok thanks to a generous donation but it won't last forever. While we're talking about food, imagine what feeding time is like when you have over 300 dogs? It's loud, chaotic and takes ages.

There's really good video of work at the shelter that you can view at http://7-seas-effect.de/ click on the 'latest' link on the left hand side of the page.
If you want to generate some good karma and help out by providing a donation, your assistance would be very much appreciated. Every little bit counts! Please donate to the PayPal account via DASH.messini@gmail.com
and tell your friends and family about it.
Oh and I should also say that the family I'm staying with while I'm here is nothing short of wonderful. Dimitri, Andrea and Anna-Lena are amazingly hospitable. I need for nothing and they provide me everything. All I ever do is some dishwashing. Nothing compared to what they do for me.
