It's hard to say goodbye...

My time in the Greek islands have come to an end 😔.

Paros is an amazing place with fantastic people.

The beaches are sensational. You can swim anywhere. Even in the ports! You may typically associate ports with dirty, oily and trashy waters. Not in Paros. They're as clear as a freshly cleaned pool.

I didn't know it before I arrived in Paros but the island is nicknamed 'cat island' it's easy to see why. There are cats everywhere.

The old town in Parikia is beautiful

and Antiparos was an excellent place for a day trip.

Lefkes is stunning and so tranquil at night.

I love everywhere and everything about this island but most of all it's the people. Unbelievably kind, happy and friendly. It's the people that I will miss the most for sure.

Santorini is brilliantly unique.

Fira provides a perfect base to tour from and an excellent view of the volcano.

Oia is serene and so colourful. I would probably stay there next time I visit.

The bad thing about having my ferry cancelled from Santorini was that the replacement would take 8hrs to get into Athens arriving around midnight. The good thing about it being cancelled is that it gave me a chance to watch the independence day celebrations.
