It was a beautiful, hot, calm and sunny day. Perfect.

The first port of call (literary) was Antiparos.

This is an Island off the island of Paros that requires a five minute ferry ride from the southeastern town of Pounda.

Yeah yeah yeah absolutely stunning.

One of the best things about being the only tourist here is, well let me say it in a little rhyme....

You can walk at a pace just above a crawl,

You can drive at a pace just above a stall,

You can swim in the beaches wearing nothing at all!

This beach at Soros was magnificent. Perfect spot for a bit of risky swimming.

Next stop was Agios Georgios. This area is right at the southern end of the island. Another typically brilliant spot. By now I'm thinking there are no 'average' areas anywhere.

Then it was off to the aptly named 'The Cave'. No guesses what this is. I do love a good cave and the view from there was awesome.

Now back to Paros and a drive to the southern end of the island to a place called Aliki.

I was joined for dinner by my new friend Annalisa and she treated me to some local Greek favourites. Two of the dishes we ate were Fava, a dish with mashed potato like consistency and texture made from split peas. This was especially nice.

And another different dish called Dakos. This was crushed tomato, capers and feta over broken bread. Yum.
