Paros is 65klm in circumference. I figured it was time to start seeing a bit of the island so I hired a car and hit the road. First stop Naoussa. It's a quite little fishing village on the north coast of Paros.
I could bang on about how peaceful and beautiful it is but I can't be bothered. I'll let the photos tell the story.

Next destination was Santa Maria, the furthest northeastern point of the island. Not much here except a beach and cliffs. Sill beautiful. Popular for water sports because of the winds.
I generated some good karma on this leg by picking up a hitchhiker. A little old lady carrying her groceries in the middle of nowhere. She didn't speak English and obviously I don't speak Greek but noises and sign language goes a long way. After about 6klm I dropped her off. Not sure if she was more thankful that I picked her up or that I didn't kidnap her. She had a massive smile and put her hand on her heart so I think I did good.

Then it was off to Kolimbithres. Another beachside beauty. By this time I'd been driving around a fair bit and done a reasonable amount of walking so I was feeling a bit hot. I thought it was time for a swim. There are hundreds of awesome beaches to choose from and I thought this one would do just fine. Sheltered, private with emerald water and a stunning backdrop.

Sorry but I can't tell you anything or show any photos of the last two spots. I blinked and totally missed em.
