No guesses as to what's on show here.

The collection is huge and brilliant. Even though he died at he age of 37 the number of paintings he produced is impressive.

There's not just his work on show. His friends and other artists of the time such as Gauguin, Bernard and Matisse, to name drop, are here as well.

Van Gogh idealised the peasant life. He once said that 'peasant life was so much better in many respects to the civilised world'. I can respect that.

Yes I saw some great pieces, like this one...

And this one...

And as usual I was there for many hours. They nearly had to kick me out but not quite.

Side note: It never ceases to amaze me at how inconsiderate and ignorant some people are. No matter how many art galleries, museums and the like I visit there are always people who love to stand directly in front of you. I'm not here to look at the back of your head! Am I invisible? Can't you see me standing here?

Even if you have no idea about etiquette surely you have some commonsense or can show some common courtesy? What am I saying? these things aren't that common at all anymore.

These people test my tolerance to the limit. One day I'm gonna loose it. There, vented.

Oh and what part of 'no photos' do you not understand?

Sorry, still not finished. You don't need to push through people like a bowling ball into ten pins! The paintings are not going anywhere.

Now I'm done.

No actually I'm not. Finally to the person who rushes around the room getting in front of everyone and looking at each painting for two seconds like your speed dating. What are you even doing here?

End.
