Adieu Brussels

Waffles, chocolate, beer and frites (chips in a paper cone).

These are iconic to Brussels.

Belgians are also proud of their toys and comics.

From my point of view it's small (although I did plenty of walking)  and quiet (until the locals get drunk).

The people tend to talk to themselves a lot and the men don't grow beards.

For a backpacking wanderer like me it's a little bit expressive but I was able to find one spot that dished up a good meal.

Before you judge, it tasted alright and was good value for money, €10.00 which is what I'm after. I actually ate there three times. They were, let's say, diverse with what they serve.

On the last day at a local market I bought a crepe with mixed olives, creamed cheese, sundried tomatoes and honey. That was way better than it sounds 😋
