The Grand Place or Grote Markt is the central square of Brussels.

It's created using Gothic and Baroque style architecture from the late 17th century. It's surrounded by opulent halls and two larger buildings being the city's Town Hall and the Breadhouse building containing the Museum of the City.

To say it's a beautiful square (actually a rectangle) is a massive understatement.

I stood and stared for ages then went around the corner, ate dinner and went back to stare some more.

My photos as usual can't show it's proper splendour. I blame my equipment.

Oh and yeah, it's a UNESCO World Heritage site.
