Xabia, Spain

Xabia is 450km from Granada driving north along the southern coast.

It's a seaside town very popular with tourists looking for the sun and sandy beaches. There are many beaches to choose from and heaps of places to eat and drink with taverns and restaurants lining the boulevards.

The Mediterranean is crystal clear and a perfect place for a dip to blow away the cobwebs from the night before.

I stayed at an eco farm on the city's edge about 8 minutes drive from the beach.

My hosts Bea and Teo were great. I enjoyed a great paella made by Teo one afternoon and sat and drank wine with them while we discussed the worlds events.
