So again the photos don't do it justice but I tried.

If you think the outside and top level looks good then just imagine the oldest part, the crypt. Used for sermons in the early stages of construction, off limits to tourists and an area where no photos are allowed its the final resting place for the great man.

Construction started in 1882 and is on target to be completed in 2026.

It changes it's appearance depending on the type and time of day. Sun light and shadows create numerous and different dimensions inside and out.

Even though its still being built to the original design its quite apparent that the modern day building techniques and construction materials show a vast difference from the time Gaudi himself was in control.

I wander what Gaudi would think?
