To say that I was looking forward to my visit here would be an understatement.
No matter how long you stay for it would feel like it's still not long enough. You need a whole day at least.
This museum and art gallery holds some of the finest art in Spain and is so large I got lost more than once. There appears to be an infinite amount of rooms, corridors, wings and levels.
The collection is impressive to say the least and very diverse.
Luckily for me I'm a big fan of surrealist art because this place is chock full of it.
I gorged myself on pieces by some of the greats such as Dali, Picasso and Dominguez to the point of overdose.
The amount on display by Salvador Dali in particular was overwhelming.
I lost count of how many times I caught myself standing in front of a piece of at art like a zombie staring at it with my jaw wide open.
