Madrid - first impressions

It's hot. Up to 36deg.

Madrid is more beautiful than I imagined. The streets and buildings are amazing. Each beautiful building sits on an amazing street that leads to a brilliant plaza that's as equally as special as the last.

It's slow paced with plenty of activity. I haven't seen one single modern building which surprises me.

The food, beer and wine is as you would expect, awesome! Cheaper than I thought also.

How can you not love a place that sells a good bottle of red in a grocery store for $3.50AUD.

Speed limits are not necessarily there to be obeyed they are more like a challenge to see how far over one can go. Cabbies love this game.
